I went to a conference a few months ago and came away with so much knowledge. I was surrounded by so many people with big life changing dreams.  I wish I could tell you all their stories, but I’ll just say… Launch Out 2017 should move to the top of your list.

Of all the presentations by incredible speakers what still resonates with me the most didn’t come from the stage. She was a speaker, but her mama advice didn’t come while she was standing on stage. We were catching up on life in the hall way when she gave me a bit of wisdom. Her children are now adults so she spoke with experience. I have adored and respected her opinion on many things for quite some time. But this, this has stuck with me. And some days it almost brings me to tears. Of all the mama advice out there: “back to sleep”, “sleep when they sleep”, “Pampers not Huggies”, “Huggies not Pampers”,  “don’t hold them too much”, “hold them all the time”, “cry-it-out”, “don’t cry it out…. This advice was the best.
Low Carb Meal Plans

My friend, Ronei, said “kiss their boo-boos”. That’s it!

Kiss their boo-boos. She reminded me that right now while they are young I have the power to “kiss it and make it better”. But as the kids get older parenting won’t be that easy. One day the world may throw a curve ball and leave them with a bruised heart, but the world will never be able to take the confidence that Mama cares. Mama can’t always take away the hurt. But, Mama is here to hold your hand and walk with you through anything.

AT-A-GLANCE

I want my kids to always know their problems are important to me and become my problems. Their problems aren’t always going to be a simple fix, but I am here to cheer them on and offer my help when I can. I will kiss boo boos. I will hold their hand. I will wipe away tears. I will listen to their struggles. Life isn’t going to be as easy as it is now, but we are a team.

So, friends, if your kids will still let you; kiss their boo boos. I am a toddler mom! This is what I do!
