I was excited to find out that the Dollar Tree already has Christmas decorations and crafts out in stores. So the kids and I went on a hunt for more Christmas decor for the house…. because you can never ever have enough Christmas decorations.

Christmas Wreath

Our Dollar Tree Christmas decorations

We don’t have a Christmas wreath so I was looking for one, but even better found all the goods to make our very own. My kids helped me pick out the items to put on the wreath to make it look even better.

We were able to purchase all the items we wanted for a wreath for only $7!

I was probably most excited to find the string of 10 bulb battery operated led lights that I could put on it. For only  $1! I can’t believe their prices. I can’t believe the things they carry for only $1!!

First I wrapped the wreath with the ribbon, then I was able to use it to hold the lights on. Next we hot glued the Santa decoration onto the wreath. Last we placed the glittery pieces where we wanted them and hot glued them on.

The wreath took us no time at all and I had so much fun making this that I want to get more products from Dollar Tree and make some more! Like I said you can never have too many Christmas decorations!

My kids love doing crafts so they were thrilled when I showed them the plain ball ornaments we found at Dollar Tree that we could customize.

We grabbed up some of the faux snow, packets of glittery stars and snowflakes, some jingle bells, and even some of the red rumpled paper.

We used some measuring cups to hold the balls upright while we filled them, and a funnel when pouring the snow, stars and snowflakes. There was a little mess, but not nearly as bad as I had thought it would be.

My kids went wild and wanted to put some of everything in their balls. My son even went so far as to put one of his playing block men inside one of his.

We had a great time picking out all of the new Christmas decor we got from Dollar Tree and we made some memories. I think this may begin a new tradition of spending a few dollars and making some new ornaments every year.

Make sure you check out all that Dollar Tree has to offer online and in their store.
